The dashboard offers insights into filing activity and leading applicants at the EPO in the field of quantum technologies, an emerging area with the potential to transform computing, communication, sensing and cybersecurity.

Users can investigate the technology landscape through a structured visual mapping of technical fields and subfields organised across three hierarchical levels. For each of the 18 fields and subfields, the dashboard includes charts displaying the top applicants, filing developments over the past ten years by region of origin, and a world map showing filings by country of origin.
