The dashboard provides an overview of filing trends and leading applicants at the EPO in the area of power grid technologies, which play a central role in enabling reliable, flexible and increasingly decarbonised energy systems.

Users can navigate through detailed technology domains via a visual mapping of 78 technical fields and subfields, structured across five hierarchical levels. For each field and subfield, the dashboard offers charts highlighting the top applicants, filing trends over the past decade by region of origin, and a world map showing filings by country of origin.
